Monroe County Community Alliance Meeting

3:00 pm – 5:00 pm

The public are invited to attend Community Alliance Meetings which include the subcommittees for Substance Abuse/Mental Health and CAPP Local Task Force. The purpose of the Community Alliance is to strengthen and advocate for a cohesive system of care that will ensure child safety and well-being in a manner that is family centered, community based, outcome oriented, culturally competent, timely in its responses and accountable.

Statewide Council on Opioid Abatement

2:00 pm – 3:30 pm

This meeting is in accordance with 397.335, F.S., which establishes the Statewide Council on Opioid Abatement. The terms of the Florida Opioid Settlement agreement require the state to create an Opioid Abatement Taskforce or Council to advise the Governor, Legislature, Florida’s Department of Children and Families (“DCF”), and Local Governments on the priorities that should be addressed as part of the opioid epidemic, review how monies have been spent and the results that have been achieved with Opioid Funds.

Circuit 1 Community Alliance

Mission of the Circuit 1 Community Alliance is a forum through which services for children mandated and funded by state and federal government are planned, organized and coordinated. It serves as a conduit for information between and among providers, state agencies, consumers and the general public.
