The Department of Children and Families, Office of Child and Family Wellbeing Program Office announce public meetings to which all persons are invited. The Future of Child Protection Contracting and Funding Workgroup is meeting in accordance with Section 27 of HB 7089 (2024). Discussion topics will include an introduction of the workgroup’s directives and next steps.

The Commission on Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder is meeting in accordance with section 394.9086, F.S. Discussion topics will include the status of Florida’s behavioral health system of care and opportunities to further examine the current methods of providing mental health and substance use services in the state.
