Marchman Act Basics
New course effective 8/22/17This course provides a general introduction to the fundamental issues surrounding the voluntary and involuntary admissions procedures and other aspects of the Marchman Act (Chapter 397, F.S.). It also presents an overview of the guaranteed protection of rights specified under the provisions of this law. The Florida Certification Board Website is currently undergoing maintenance - this course is not currently available
Guardian Advocate and the Marchman Act
Interim location as of 01/25/2023This course provides the essential and legislatively mandated 4-hours of training for persons who have been appointed as Guardian Advocates under the Marchman Act. Four continuing education credits and contact/clock hours are offered after successful completion of the course exam.
