What are Crisis Services?

Crisis services such as the Baker Act and the Marchman Act are available to individuals in need of support while experiencing a behavioral health crisis.

Marchman Act

The Marchman Act provides for voluntary admissions and involuntary assessment, stabilization, and treatment of adults and youth who are severely impaired due to substance abuse.

Baker Act

The Baker Act provides legal procedures for mental health examination and treatment.
