PANAMA CITY — In the Governor’s Office of Adoption and Child Protection, the role of advocacy will be enhanced to increase the focus on community empowerment through expanding the team of champions who will highlight children’s issues.

New Camp for Champions Inspires Interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM)

Topics will include improvements to the child welfare system, fostering initiative, adoption success, education funding, improvements in early learning, prevention efforts, human trafficking and more.

About 70 children will participate in athletic, mentoring activities this week
