Public Hearing on: Rules 65E-12.103 Definitions 65E-12.104 Licensing Procedure 65E-12.106 Common Minimum Program Standards

Please join us as we discuss the Crisis Stabilization Units and Short-Term Residential Treatment Programs rules.  DCF and AHCA representatives will answer questions and take public comments regarding these rules.

Monroe County Community Alliance Meeting

The public are invited to attend Community Alliance Meetings which include the subcommittees for Substance Abuse/Mental Health and CAPP Local Task Force. The purpose of the Community Alliance is to strengthen and advocate for a cohesive system of care that will ensure child safety and well-being in a manner that is family centered, community based, outcome oriented, culturally competent, timely in its responses and accountable. Duval County Workshop On Opioid Use

At the direction of Governor Scott, the Department of Children and Families, the Department of Health, and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement will host community workshops in Palm Beach, Manatee, Orange, and Duval counties to discuss the ongoing issue of opioid drug use. The goal of the workshops is for agency leadership and staff to hear the specific needs of these communities and provide information regarding existing resources, best practices regarding opioid use disorders, and grant opportunities.

Workshops are open to the public.
